Our team of designers come from a unique background in the arts and in programming, because web design and development is both an art and a science.

The purpose of a website is to bring products and information to your clients or audience. To do this your site must be aesthetically pleasing, easily comprehensible and simple to navigate.

Unlike most web design companies who zero in on only one aspect of your needs, Chimera Creations gives you the full package. Our team includes graphic artists, flash designers, top-level programmers, web designers, web application programmers and content writers.

The Chimera Creations Web Design Process

The design process consists of three phases, which are outlined below for your convenience.

1. Design Phase

During this initial phase your Project Manager and our design staff will work together to create a mock-up of your landing page. This mock-up is a non-functional graphical representation of what your landing page will look like when completed. Because this mock-up is merely a graphical representation and involved no scripting and/or coding, most aesthetic changes should be made during this phase.

2. Coding and/or Programming Phase

In this phase your design is coded for internet functionality in SEO friendly script. All of our coding, with a few necessary exceptions, is compliant with W3C standards, which means that your landing pages will be fully functional for a long time, even as web standards evolve.

3. Revision Phase

In this phase you can request further revisions to your coded landing pages. These revisions are limited to designer errors or small amendments of text or minor picture changes. At this phase it is too late to change the overall content or layout elements of your site, which is why it is so important to make sure you are happy with the mock-up presented to you in phase 1.
